The Authority provides information for seafarers and administers certification procedures in line with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW).
Seafarer certificates issued by the Authority carry a Certificate Control Number or Unique Tracking Number (UTN) that employers and port authorities can verify online.

How the process works

On approval, the certificate is issued with a Certificate Control Number or UTN.

Online verification
The certificate can be verified online within 48 hours from the date of issuance.
